Like mother like Daughter ?

 My girls LOVE to play dress up. SO I NOT Hardley every surprised with the outfits they come up with. But Sunshine got me good today. "Mama, I look just like YOU" lol ... she knows, as most everyone does that pink is my favorite color. I did wear a pink wig for my recent 35th birthday party too.. LOL.. though she did not see me. I did show the girls some pictures.

 This little one is going to keep me on my toes.

OMG.. my couch cushions are in desperate need of a cleaning. can you see the pink kool aid mark too ??

Here's the first one, small burlap & cloth pillow I wiped up.

The flower one I made from a large pillow case I found at home good for $.99 in the clearance stuff. Someone had took or lost the other. I have some more of this from the other side that I have framed in my bedroom.

 I've been thinking about making burlap pillows for my denim couch for awhile.. here's just one.. got 2 others I'm working on.

Hey Mr. Mr.

 The girls crack me up sometimes. ok all the time. They just come up with things... LOL.. so last week at Cici's they HAD to have a mustache from the torture machines they put right by the door as you leave with your children knowing darn well they are going to beg anf beg for soemthign from them. Oh and such QUALITY items.. yeah right. Anyway.. this $.50 mushtache Sunshine HAD to have did give us some entertainment. I do have to admit it's pretty funny.

Just something I've been working on

my new favorite obsession.. lol yes so I went a little over board

 I have been having alot of fun chaning the burgundy things into blue at home. I love the floral look but don't want to go overboard so I added just a touch of it here and there. anyway.. I an enjoying decopage. So much fun and looks great. I made some paper flowers and used some beautiful scrapbook paper I found at joann's and made these projects.

then used my mod podge to put it on .

She is getting bigger.. A whole 8 lbs now. Her little body has turned into a long one and people don't ask as often what kind of dog she is. I think the long hair dapple print throws them off a little but she's a pure bred Dachshund !! and just adorable if I do say so myself. She was recently spayed and had on "the cone of shame" we all signed it like a cast.. lol .. the girls got a kick out of that. She healed up nicely and didn't seem too tramatize by the whole this.. so here she is !!

a chalk project

 I have wanted to use the chalk board paint for awhile. I finally bought a small can at lowes and luck would have it found these cute little silver trays at the dollar store !!

I'm going to be an Auntie !!

We still have awhile to wait, But I am so excited to be an Aunt. I've startded a few projects because it has been soo hard to hold out until we know what the little sweetie is. Due Feb 2, 2011, how cool is this picture at just 11 weeks ?

Honey & I finished my china cabinet this weekend. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It brightens the room and for now is my new favorite piece of furniture !! Why ? Because we did it.... we made it ours. ok Mine, lol.. yes I told honey even after all of his hard work. it's MINE !
