I love this beachy blue look. My Honey did an amazing job on this book shelf. I did help a little but he did most of the work and it came out just like I imagined it would.

Sunshine's last day of toddler school

 Since we are moving I gave notice and Sunshine had her last day of toddler school. We made this lovley charm necklace for her favorite teacher in the whole widest world (sunshine's words) for her teachers gift. We will stop by with a few goodies and this gift before we go.

 We are MOVING !! finally.... it's just about a month away. It's time to pack and soon very very soon you will see posts like this...

Touch up

 I made a few touch up's to this painting I posted before. The tea pot in the center had a hot pink lid & handle.. though. I LOVE pink, it just seemed to harsh for the picture. I also removed the black labels from the potters on the left. Here's the new painting !!

 So awhile back I posted about my feet being blue. I had flip flops on while I spray painted this item for the 5th time.. lol yes I did not like the black. then the pink was just not right, and the white looked to plain, so back to the pink and NOW it's blue. I LOVE it .. yes I am a pink girl but Blue is it's color !!

I Love Fried Zucchini

 Anyone else ? So on the way home from work the other day I treated myself to some (I should get some treat for working 8 days straight so far, and 4 more to go) When I got to my mom's I had the snack in my lap and sunshine grab one and shoveled in before I could warn her. LOL ... the look on her face was priceless. She pulls a have eatten piece out of her mouth and yells "EWW WHO put a pickle in my chicken nugget ?"  .... 2 days later and I am still cracking up !!

My next project

 I have fond memories of this bookshelf as a kid. It sat in my grandparents den for as long as I could remember. My granmother was always very crafty and a true DIY 'er ! I had reservations paiting this.. I mean it's always been brown, my mom said. You grandma would have loved that fact that you made it your own and even more than it became a treasure to you. The back was in very bad condition. Bless my grandpa's heart but he had cut a odd hole in the back at one point to put his tv in it. We took that off and have painted it blue to match the china cabinet. a after picture to come in a few days !!

Sunshine's shirt

 I found this super cute Dachshund fabric and wasn't sure what to do with it, until Sunshine sd.. Oh oh mama.. is that for me ?? so I made her a shirt.

Like the new look ?

 As you can see I have been playing around with a new look. I think I like it, but don't be surprised if it changes again. I like change.. lol

This cake is spicy !

 We went to a birthday party for a dear friend's cute little 3 year old boy. The girls had a blast ! They are still talking about it today. I have a few funny's my girls made to share with you. You see the cute little guys Dad was there and though they know his mom and see her alot this was the first time to see his Dad. He is very tall. Sweetpea saw him and said  "WHOA, he is as tall as 2 Daddy's" ...lol

Sunshine was just starting to enjoy her cake while I turned my back for a second to get us drink refills. When I came back she said, "mama, I need some more cake, this cake is spicy" .. I laughed and said.. "it's cake, cake is not spicy. " She told me "WELL, i put this candy on it, (holding up a small jar of pepper flakes for the pizza) and it's way to spicy on my cake." .. lol She had an entire mouth full !!

For a friend

 I had a friend ask me to make her a similiar painting to one she saw in a magazine... she didn't want to pay $300.00 for a print when she could get a real painting. Here's what I came up with. Hope you enjoy it S !!
